Q1: Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser treatment provides long-term hair reduction rather than permanent removal. Most hair follicles are disabled after a full course of sessions, with only fine, sparse regrowth over time that occasional top-up sessions can manage.
Q2: Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as a warm pinch or light snapping sensation rather than real pain. Our machines have a built-in cooling tip to keep you comfortable, and discomfort eases as your hair becomes finer with each session.
Q3: How many sessions will I need?
Most areas need around 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, since hair grows in different cycles and the laser only targets hair in its active growth phase. Your clinician will confirm a plan at your consultation. Sessions are available at our Chatswood, Eastgardens and Mount Annan clinics.
Q4: Is laser treatment suitable for all skin types?

Q6: What should I avoid before treatment?
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, waxing, plucking and bleaching for at least 2 weeks before your session, since the laser targets the hair root which needs to stay intact. Shaving the area beforehand is fine and recommended.
